“Happiness hygiene habits”  21 days, 2 minutes a day – Shawn Achor

  • Look for three new things you’re grateful for and why.
  • Think of one positive experience and journal three details of that meaningful experience.
  • 15 minutes of fun mindful cardio a day or 3x a week is equal to taking an anti-depressant drug.
  • Attention training and meditation for 2 minutes a day.
  • Write out a 2-minute text or email thanking someone for the positive impact they’ve made in your life.

All experience is subjective. The aim of an argument should not be to persuade or debate who’s perceptions are more accurate. Instead the goal is to gain greater understanding of each other’s subjective reality and of how the issue was handled. That’s how you process past emotional injuries.
