No matter how many times you ask someone to perform a task, its inevitable they’re going to forget or screw it up. They may not understand the importance of the job, lack the competence or simply might not care as much as you do. In any case, if it’s really important, install a failsafe check list, do it yourself or accept that from time to time things are just gonna fall through the cracks. – Dad
Rules for being Human (Handed down from ancient Sanskrit)
What is the balance between playing it safe and taking risks? For me the answer is if it hurts more to lose than it helps to win I take a pass. Maybe not the most exciting approach, but this conservative process has served me well. Slow and steady wins the race. – Dad
