I was out of boxing for 10 years, and the only picture that I saved was Muhammad Ali knocking me down. There I was going down from that punch, I kept that and looked at it all the time, mainly because I realised what a big moment it was for sports and for boxing, and it kept me humbled. – George Foreman

You know why I am a millionaire? Because I can put my fastball wherever I want to. Do you know why I own beachfront property in L.A.? Because I can change speeds. O.K., questions? – Greg Maddox

We recruit not just the athlete, but also the family. We look for attitude and effort. We seek athletes who can bounce back from failure and push through mistakes. We want kids who keep working hard when things get difficult or when a play or call doesn’t go their way. We recruit grit and athleticism, combined with a deep understanding of the game. We look for kids who don’t give up and blame others for their circumstances. We want kids who run out grounders and never give up on a play. We seek kids who recover, lead, and compete. – Anonymous Baseball Coach
