People have an inherent bias towards negativity. It’s often why when things are going well we still feel as if they could be better. The next time you’re feeling down pause and take a moment to reflect on what you have to be grateful. Maybe it’s your health. Maybe a job or a roof over your head. Could be the love of a pet or just a cup of coffee. Soon enough you’ll realize the world is not conspiring against you. If fact, the truth is probably just the opposite. – Dad

Sometimes choices create challenges. When that happens take a few options off the table. Learning how to overcome over-thinking is an essential tool. “Stair stepping” is a technique you can use to simplify decision making. Instead of focusing on a big final outcome, concentrate on small decisions that feel less consequential but that bring you closer to the final destination. – Jay Shetty
