When we think the greatest dangers lie outside us we become trapped. FEAR is the force we must overcome. With fear comes the instinct to fight or flee. It’s like those Chinese finger traps. People have an inherent bias towards negativity. It’s often why when things are going well we still feel as if they could be better. The next time you’re feeling down pause and take a moment to reflect on what you have to be grateful. Maybe it’s your health. Maybe a job or a roof over your head. Could be the love of a pet or just a cup of coffee. Soon enough you’ll realize the world is not conspiring against you. If fact, the truth is probably just the opposite. – Dad
